Thank you so much to Ricky Bolin and Mary Jane Carpenter from Resistol for the Ridesafe Hat/Helmet!! I will feel much safer when I have to ride a young horse and I'm by myself at the house!! Anyone else thinking about using one??

Cool , did you buy it or was it a gift? I should wear helmets but dont, the thing is I hate wearing hats, never could get use to wearing anything on my head at all, at the bigger shows my hat always sit hanging on my saddle horn untill my run, then as soon as my run was over I shuck that baby off, lol,, I know I'm bad..The only time I wear one if its raining are out on tractor.

I think that's a good idea! I always did that when I was a teenager and trying out a new horse but I stopped when I got into college. I have a helmet now, mainly when I rode a horse of ours that I don't like, but I don't ride in it with every horse and not as much as I should.
