How do you get your young horses used to the swinging and noises of a rope?

Just start swinging a rope on them cruising around.  Helps if they're on the tired side first....go slow.

Just pick up a rope and start playing with it while you ride, swing it around, swing it over your head, just dont be hitting your horse in the head, while your horse is tied up swing it all around him/she, rope a dummy while on your horse and ground, just get your horse use to the rope and the rope touching your horse and bounching off of him too.

That too being close to the roping box, at all the ropings I would take my young horses and tie behind are on the sides so they could take it all in, and lots of time I would be in the arena helping pushing the calfs or steers back to the back carrying a rope and playing with it.
